This will confirm that The John Hayman & Sons Company Limited was the general contractor on two separate projects for Fanshawe College at our Oxford Street Campus in London.

The first project included a 10,800 square foot single-storey addition to our Student Union Building, linked to a new 45,500 square foot two storey Community Fitness Centre. The Student Union project included a RoadHouse style restaurant with full bar, Student Union offices, meeting rooms and games areas. The Fitness Centre included a fitness-exercise club, a double pad gym, 3 squash courts, and a health clinic with physio-therapy and doctors examination rooms. Both projects were completed in February 1996 at a cost of $5,627,600. The project manager was George Hayman and the site superintendent was Doug LeLacheur.

The second project was a three storey, 51,210 square foot addition to "F" Building. This concrete structure contained student homework-computer room, student lounges, and college offices. This project was completed in October 2003 at a cost of $6,804,000. The project manager was Brian Hayman and the site superintendent was John Gautreau.

On both projects The John Hayman & Sons Company project team proved to be very effective, and worked well with sub-contractors, the consultants, and the college. We are justifiably proud of the buildings they constructed for us, and our very pleased with the effort and expertise provided by The John Hayman & Sons Company. We would most happy to work with them again and have no hesitation recommending them for other projects.
